Our guest house
Ideally situated in the centre of Aubenas, Montélimar, Privas triangle, in a small valley on the Coiron plateau, la Maison Jaffran is a large Victorian house (Napoleon III), set in the middle of a private park of well established trees.
François and Jacques welcome you to their guest house and invite you to share this extraordinary place that has swept them off their feet!
Peace, tranquillity, charm and good living are the key words here, at la Maison Jaffran.
There are four spacious, comfortable rooms. Their windows open onto an unspoilt corner of the Ardèche countryside, lending comfort, style and environment perfectly.
Each room has its own specific atmosphere.
Great care has been taken over the decoration and choice of colour schemes and fabrics.
Their names are those of trees found in the park.
Soft breezes rustling the fragrance from their leaves, gentle tinkling of bells from nearby grazing pastures add to our guests’ delight and wellbeing.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am in the large dining-room or on the terrace, depending on the weather.
Bread, pastries, homemade jams accompany fresh eggs and local cheeses every morning.
We have plenty of information and documents about what to do and see in our corner of Ardèche.
Free access to internet wifi (to keep you in touch with the outside world) but also books in the sitting-room and la Galerie (to get away from the outside world!) TV and CD player, all available on request.
We often hang artist friends' works of art on our gallery walls ; follow our blog, La Tribume de Jaffran, to find out what's on.
